G.A.S (Great Plains Analytical) is a rapidly growing family business of 30 years, in the oil and energy field, that meets the leak detection, valve repair, and stack testing needs of our clients.


Currently, GAS is looking to hire a sales account executive professional in the Permian Basin area. It is preferred that all applicants have had at least 2-3 years of experience as an oilfield sales representative, pharmaceutical sales reps, or any sales representative role.


Salary: Base rate and commission will be negotiated based on experience.


Benefits: Company phone, company vehicle, company computer, health insurance (GAS pays 100% for employee), dental and vision, 401K with matching 6%, clothing allowance, and a performance-based commission plan are also included.


Work schedule – Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and travel.


Job Description:

  • Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
  • QA/QC calls to customers to ensure customer satisfaction of services provided
  • Daily conduction of calls, emails, face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and current customers to ensure excellent customer service
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts in Salesforce
  • Educate customers on how products or services can add value to them and their organization on all levels.
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs.
  • Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
  • Attending trade shows and hosting customer events that are pertinent to you and/or your region
  • Generate quotes, pricing, and bids per the needs of the client.
  • Prepare and present proposals and bids
  • Prospect new sales by cold calling
  • Hold virtual or in person demonstrations with an end goal of earning a prospect’s business
  • Collaborating with key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of sales representative experience
  • Strong professional social skills and speaking skills
  • Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Working knowledge in the use of computers. Demonstrated ability to access and/or perform basic computer functions utilizing company software applications
